Magic Ring Escape
A finger ring is borrowed from a spectator. The ring is placed onto the bolt and secured on by the nut. A padlock is placed through a hole in the bolt, securing the ring on the assembly. The magician holds the bolt in his hands, under a cloth.
On the count of three, the magician shows that the ring has escaped from the nut and bolt, with the padlock still locked in place!
